Toby Foyeh and Orchestra Africa, of Nigeria is one of the truely exciting guitarists and multi-instrumentalists in Africa, featuring vocalists and such traditional African instruments as the gangan (talking drum) and the Kalimba (thumb piano). Other instruments incorporated into the Band are flutes, guitars and synthesizers. The band combines diverse musical styles - Afro-beat, Jazz, Highlife and soul.
Band leader Toby Foyeh has studied music in Africa, Berklee College of Music Boston Massachusetts and at Howard University. He has performed in the United Kingdom, Europe, U.S and Canada.
